We're hiring AI Automation Engineers to design and build production AI systems alongside experienced security professionals. These are remote contract roles. Candidates must be located in the U.S. and eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and automation
• Extend and maintain open source codebases
• Work with security experts to turn requirements into production software
• Document architecture, deployment, and operating procedures

Required

• Strong Python development skills, including Django or a similar web framework
• Experience building production systems on LLM APIs, including retrieval, embeddings, and agent frameworks
• Experience with text similarity and clustering techniques
• Experience building evaluation pipelines for LLM output
• Experience forking and maintaining open source codebases, including upgrading legacy dependencies and managing license compliance
• Experience designing configurable, multi-tenant systems
• Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, including authentication, storage, queueing, and notification services
• PostgreSQL and data modeling experience
• Secure development practices, including access control and secrets management
• Working knowledge of common vulnerability classes, CVSS, and CWE
• Clear written communication

Preferred

• Experience writing detection rules, scanner templates, or static analysis rules for security tools
• Bug bounty, vulnerability triage, or application security experience
• Container and CI/CD experience

Compensation

• $110 to $150 USD/hour, based on technical skills and experience
